Children thrive in our friendly, welcoming environment, from 15 months old, to Kindergarten. They love our larger-than-average playrooms and our stimulating, well shaded outdoor play space.
We’re a family owned and operated Early Years and Kindergarten, and our highly educated and experienced team are child-centred and focused on individual development and care. Our staff are multi-cultural, and some are bi-lingual, reflecting the many cultures represented by families who are part of our community. They’ve been with us for a long time, providing security and stability to the children in our care.
Stretton Early Years and Kindergarten meets National Quality Standards, offering two Government approved Kindergarten programs, with qualified teachers in each room, as well as the Early Years Educational Program.
Our OWNA online community, Exclusive to Stretton Early Years and Kindergarten families, makes it possible to monitor your child’s progress and participation everyday, as well as upcoming events and activities at Stretton EYK.
All our Nutritious meals including Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea, are prepared fresh by our onsite cook (Who has achieved 5 star Quality Rating from Brisbane City Council) and they’re included every day at no extra charge, as are nappies, sunscreen, in service experiences and excursions.

Bush Kindy – Bambara Explorers
“Bambara” means Forest or Country, making it the perfect name for our Bush Kindy program. This approach is centred around exploring natural environments, offering rich and meaningful benefits for children’s learning and development.
Behind Stretton Early Years & Kindergarten lies a beautiful bushland area just waiting to be discovered. Our Bush Kindy Leader incorporates this natural space into our regular program by taking children offsite to engage in hands-on, nature-based learning experiences.
As the program involves children walking offsite, Bush Kindy is classified as an excursion and requires permission.
Each Bush Kindy session is intentionally planned to enhance children’s learning, health, and overall wellbeing, while fostering a deep connection to Country and the natural world.
